Born in California , Gaye Ferrara, spent her early years in the west and southwest. Her family ultimately settled in New York, but Gaye chose to attend college in the west, where she studied fine arts at the University of Arizona. Also a graduate of The American Institute of Interior Design, Gaye worked successively for two Interior design firms, learning the profession of design. In 1984, she headed the design team for the Orchards Resort and Restaurant at L'Auberge de Sedona, Sedona, Arizona. Following that she established her own business doing commercial and residential interiors. Gaye Ferrara has produced many diverse design projects both residential and commercial. Ferrara has been published locally and regionally and has won many design awards for both product and interior design. Gaye Ferrara of Ferraras Interiors works with a large team of contractors, designers, architects and sources that she draws from specifically for each each project tailoring each project to meet the needs and dreams of the client. Ferraras has won many ASID awards for residential , product design, retail and office , contract , healthcare and contract design. Ferraras also won an AIA Honor award for design.

Gaye Ferrara is a Phoenix-based designer with 30+ years of experience creating luxury modern designs for private homes and commercial installations. Gaye, an associate member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) has designed interiors for stores, homes, medical facilities, legal offices, businesses, and hotels. As a haute couture interior designer, she searches all over the world for interesting, creative and usual pieces.
